The Daughters of Redmoon are an ancient, matriarchal warrior cult that thrives in the shadow of the Crimson Moon, a celestial body that waxes and wanes not with tides, but with blood. For centuries they have ruled the Verdant Shroud — a vast, tangled rainforest threaded with obsidian spires, sacrificial ziggurats, and rivers thick with mist.

Born in ritual and bound by oath, every Daughter is sworn to the Moonmother, a half-forgotten goddess said to drink the blood of conquerors to remain eternal. Their society is structured not around bloodlines, but proven ferocity; warriors who spill the most blood beneath the crimson light rise in rank.

Their magic is lunar and serpentine, an ancient craft said to twist bone and flesh. Through forbidden rites, some Daughters shed their mortal forms, becoming Lamiah - snake-bodied warlocks who guard the temples at the jungle’s heart. Others bond with creatures of the night sky: vast bloodbats whose wings blot out the moon.

When the Redmoon eclipses the stars, their armies spill forth from the jungle. Entire civilizations vanish beneath their silent advance, as if swallowed by the night.
